Blackstone is leading a $400 million investment in Israeli data-security startup Cyera, valuing the AI-driven company at $9 billion, according to reports.
Founded in 2021 and backed by Sequoia Capital and Accel, Cyera provides an AI-powered data security platform designed to help enterprises protect sensitive data as AI adoption accelerates. Existing investors are expected to participate in the round.
Cyera last raised $540 million in June, doubling its valuation to $6 billion. Over the past 18 months, the company reported:
- 353% growth among Fortune 500 clients
- Expansion to 10 countries
- Workforce growth to nearly 800 employees
- Total capital raised of $1.3 billion
- A 12x increase in valuation
